About my next guest: Desiree Young
Desiree is a Kingdom Entrepreneur and published author who seeks to share her story to help others. Having seen her parents through multiple divorces she knows firsthand what it is like to walk around with the pain of a broken home. Her way of coping took the form of perfectionism, anxiety and self injury ideation.
Over the course of 10 years she embarked on a journey of healing where she learned about God and his love for her. She found mentors and therapy videos to help her not only get free, but to change her habits, thoughts and behaviors to avoid repeating the same patterns of dysfunction that she grew up seeing.
She’s published two best selling books chronicling her story. She is also a chapter leader for Kingdom Writers Association in Waukesha, WI.
